   we've been customers for years. Always feel a warm welcome. Excellent food at reasonable prices. My wife misses the peppercorn chicken!! We will be back.

   We went with the intention to get veal parm. as this was one of the better places in the area to get it. We knew ownership had changed, but were surprised by the new menu, which in truth we shouldn't have been. If you are a regular, but haven't been there in recently, be mentally prepared. This is a different restaurant now. Still a BYOB. The décor has been updated, and looks great. The menu has been changed completely, offering a smaller, yet a sufficient amount of dishes. We've always said restaurants with huge menu's cannot possibly give good quality, so this menu offers enough for the kitchen to produce quality still offering amble selections. The dinner portions were a fair size for the price. The short ribs were delicious and we would highly recommend. We did feel the salad portions were far too small for the cost, but also preferred the size of the salad if the price was reduced. For this reason in going back, which we will, I would personally skip the salad. If you do decide to get one, there is not enough to share. I can't speak for the cost of the dessert because I don't know what it was, but the slice of limoncello cake was smaller than we normally get elsewhere, but with that said the cake was very good. We would recommend you give the new ownership, and the new Janina's a try.

   The renovations are Exquisite I felt like I was in a New York City restaurant. The appetizers the service the main course was perfectly prepared. The attention to detail by the chef was wonderful and we cannot wait to go back again. Also the service was seamless. Bob and Pamela Beatty

   The food was outstanding. There are so many Italian restaurants in NJ that I normally avoid them but I heard good things about this restaurant and they did not disappoint. A local gem.

   We have been dining at this Bistro for many years -always been very good food This past Saturday, the restaurant had a new menu. The meatball appetizer was very bland, as was the sauce contained in the dish - perhaps they need to add some garlic, onion and celery. The entree - a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops - also very bland. The scallops were faux scallops, I guess made from several seafood/fish by products - lacking taste and texture. We plan on returning in the near future and hope that they have addressed the lack of seasoning in their food. We go to the Bistro about ten times a year, the people are great and the service, top notch.

   My wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day 2025 for dinner. We’ve been there before a couple years ago, shame on me for not going back sooner. Everything was perfect; food was delicious and service was great for a holiday. My only suggestion, get a host/hostess for holidays and/or weekends.

    Love this place and the new renovations are beautiful! And although some of our favorite menu items are gone - as with the new chef came an entirely new offering - all of the dishes we tried were wonderful. Of course it is the service and Ari always treating us like family that definitely makes us come back time and time again.❤️
