We’ve been to Jeff Ruby on several occasions. In the past, the food was amazing. This time we both ordered the 12 oz Australian Citrus fed New York strip ($115 piece of meat) Ordered medium well. It was more than well done. Had no taste. It was dry and so tough- could barely cut with a knife and tasted like it had been drenched in salt. Salt was the only thing we could taste. My husband’s wasn’t quite as bad as mine- not sure why- we ordered exactly the same thing. Also we ordered the creamed spinach, which we’ve had before-it was cold, undercooked, watery as if they had just poured milk over it. I showed the waitress the meat, she seemed unconcerned but offered to take it back. It was New Year’s Eve and my husband’s birthday, so it wasn’t as efficient as usual- I was starving and didn’t want to wait that long for another steak. But $392 dollars later- I felt stupid for not sending it back. I just didn’t want a fuss on my husband’s birthday dinner. Even the bread wasn’t as it usually was. So disappointed- just don’t know if I’ll ever go back. Seriously, I’ve had better steaks at Longhorn Steak House. I just couldn’t believe it. Not just the steak, but the sides as well. I will say the macaroni and cheese was perfect as it has been in the past.

Our experience at Jeff Ruby's for New Year's Eve was top notch! Our server was very friendly and even brought us a dessert treat for our anniversary. We always celebrate our anniversary at Jeff Ruby's and we'll continue to do so in the future!

We had a wonderful dinner with delicious cocktails and wine. Erin our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure our evening was a memorable one. We look forward to our next visit.

Jeff Ruby’s never disappoints. We enjoyed our salmon, mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts. The butter pie was superb and so was the service.
