Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. The legendary restaurant, nestled in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown, features a lively bar and three distinct dining rooms. The menus, from executive chef Mark McCain, features dry-aged prime steaks, updated classic fine dining, and locally sourced produce. The award-winning wine list, one of the largest and most diverse in Texas, features highly-sought after vintages from Old and New World producers. Private dining in the Napoleon Room and The Apartment is available for special events. Valet service is offered.

The charming neighborhood location, old world service & multiple private dining options make Jeffrey's a true Austin gem. Jeffrey's was named “Top 10 Best New Restaurants” in the country by Bon Appetit magazine in 2013.

    It had even a few years since we had been in to have dinner at Jeffrey’s. The entire expedience was nothing short of perfection. This is generally our go to for our anniversary if we are in town. We felt like treasured guests and friends who come to celebrate a very special occasion. The drinks, menu and service are the best in town. So very happy that we have such an old friend in austin.

    Haven’t been to Jeffry’s in a decade. Totally remodeled interior since the last visit. Dinner was quiet, food as delicious, and the service was exceptional. We will not wait another decade to go back.

    Everything was spot on from the food to the care of service from the smiles from the valet and hostess to the attentiveness from the back waiters, General Manager and especially the server. Thank you for making our 12th anniversary memorable. We will return to try the chefs other incantations! Thank you again, you deserve any accolade awarded to you! P.s. I was watching Agatha All Along as I write this post.

    food, service and ambiance 10/10. came here for my bday and would highly recommend. the staff took very good care of us, steak was delicious, and they threw in a slice of vanilla ice cream cake for bday dessert!
