This was our first time at Joe’s and the restaurant was packed for Christmas dinner. Service was great and the food was beyond fantastic! From the appetizer to the dessert - the food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back when in the Boston area again. Thank for a memorable Christmas dinner.

Perfect Christmas dinner for a traveler coming through Boston. I was worried about making a reservation for one, but they accommodated, and the specials were amazing - filet mignon with crab and bernaise, cooked to perfection. Siena the waitress was lovely and sympathetic, and Michael the manager was so considerate and made sure I was comfortable. When I'm coming through again, I will be sure to revisit.

We go to Joes on Newbury every Christmas Eve as a family and it’s always lovely, both the food and the service; this year was no exception. The staff was perfect to our party of 8, and we were well attended to. The food, as always, was delicious, although my eggs Benedict were a bit on the cold side. We spent a lovely two hours at Joes, and will be back next year!

I was taking my grandson out for a treat before his hockey game tonight. When we arrived, I told the hostess we were in a hurry. Once we were seated, however, we needed to wait several minutes before we were waited on. I told the waiter we would like to be served quickly because my grandson had a hockey game. My grandson and I both ordered Joe’s hamburger, which is delicious. My grandson ordered his burger without cheese — and it came WITH cheese, so there was a delay in serving him another burger without cheese. When we finished eating, I put my charge card on the edge of the table to signal the waiter that we were ready to pay and leave. Again there was a delay at that point. I know that wait staff can be very busy. I also know that not every customer is in a rush, but we were and I wish the waiter had responded in a way that told us he understood that we would like quick service.
