   Oh man. My love for this place runs deep. I don't get out here nearly as often as I should. But as today's kids say, Johnny's slaps. Go. Stop thinking about it, and go.

   Had a wonderful business lunch for two. My guest asked if we could come back again. Everything was perfect which is what I expect at Johnnys.

   Not great. I have been there from time to time for decades. This was not a good experience. Upon arrival at our reservation time the host pointed to our table. We sat ourselves. No server for about 15-20 minutes. Then we were given drink and food menus. Orders for drinks not taken for another 15 minutes, drinks served 20 mins later. Our server was really good, but her hands were tied. They say everyone at once so the bar and small kitchen were overwhelmed. Everything was very slow. Food came out, mine was mediocre at best and my friend ordered fish and got lamb. I expect the basic courtesies at every price point. I expect near perfection at high price points.

   We had a lovely birthday dinner for my 92 year old Mother in Law prior to a show on Friday night. The food and the service were stellar. One of my favorite places to dine in Cleveland.

   Johnny’s Bar is one of the best restaurants in Cleveland . Been a customer for years and since we live in Cleveland only 5 months a year , our first stop when we are in town is Johnny’s. Bo and Will make you feel like like they are welcoming friends and are attentive to your evening . We sat at the bar where Laurie did a fantastic job describing the specials and wine selections. If you go , u must try the peppers as an appetizer and the special “ warm “ salad was a big hit . I had the Filet , which I have to say was one of the best I ever had . My wife had the pasta special which was fantastic . All in all another wonderful evening at Johnny’s Bar and can’t wait to our return .

   Johnny’s is a very unique pub/bar/restaurant situated in the middle of an old ethnic residential neighborhood. The staff are very loyal and have been there for years. Therefore you are treated like family everytime you go. The food is excellent and that’s why we continue to go back once per month. Last night we had the very best salmon we have ever had and it was cooked perfectly. And by the way, Johnny’s has one of the most charming outdoor patios in all of Northeast Ohio! The owner, Beau, is there every night to personally greet his guests. This is truly a hidden gem in the near west side of Cleveland!

    Johnny's on Fulton is ALWAYS fabulous....today I was their for lunch and it was just as good as dinner. A party of 3, I had the potato crusted grouper which was melt in your mouth outstanding with delicious potatoes and green beans. My guests had chicken parm and pasta with meatballs and sausage and every plate was totally devoured! One of the best, consistent and fun tasty restaurants in Cleveland. GO!
