   First time eating here. The bride had a petite filet with the mashed potatoes. It came with a house salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were very creamy. I had Johnny's Chanel No. 5 which was recommended by out waiter, Luis. It included cheese raviolis, shrimp, lobster, artichoke hearts and tomato in a cream sauce. I also opted to upgrade to a spinach salad. The salad was fantastic. Definitely a place we will visit again.

   Everything from the hostess to our waitress and all the wait staff was amazing. They made my son feel special for his birthday celebration. Definitely will return and happy to find this gem hidden in a hotel.

   Lucky find! Pasta sauces were incredible, and we highly recommend the parmesan rib eye. Chef stopped by our table, and Brenda was an attentive and very kind waitress.

   Hooray!! Avis is back as our beloved hostess at Johnny’s!! Avis has been a fixture at Johnny’s since our first visit. Welcome “home” Avis!! You were missed! Johnny’s is now back at the top of our list for a great steak or Italian entree. Our usual choice is Prime Rib, but on this visit I ordered the bone in rib eye. OMG!! So, so good!! Tender, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection! Others at our table were also thrilled with their choices of Veal Parmigiana and Rigatoni. The final comment I have is that the Betta’ Bruschetta is a must have!! With or without the shrimp topper, it’s an amazing treat!

   I wasn't aware it was a hotel restaurant until we arrived. I usually stay away from these since they are usually not great. It was just OK. I have had all the dishes we ordered and they were edible but not impressive. The price is about 3 times what it was worth. Don't plan on returning. Presentation, ambiance and service were fine. The food just didn't make the mark of a fine dining experience.

   Although I was able to book a table for 12 noon (via Open Table), upon arriving at the restaurant we found that it was closed and were informed that it had stopped offering lunch months ago. Ridiculous!!! We had to find an alternative option on the fly. Very unpleasant for my guest and I.

   To wax poetically, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse is the perfect place for a romantic dinner with someone you love. Everything from the friendly hostess to our waiter made the experience absolutely wonderful. From the bread to our entrees they were fantastic. Dale our waiter did a wonderful job and provided absolutely stellar service. While Pamela was a gracious host and a joy to talk to throughout our meal. We are both looking forward to coming back very soon!

   For a special occasion, we reserved a table at Johnny’s Steakhouse as we enjoy a good steak. We were greeted by Miss Avis who is warm , friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza hotel sectioned in a quaint area with a fine dining atmosphere. Our handsome waiter, Trey, was full of personality and great service. The menu offered a wonderful three course special from which I thoroughly enjoyed capresse salad, delicious salmon and a slice of their homemade pumpkin pie. My husband decided upon the 20oz bone-in ribeye with salad and side. We were amazed at the tenderness and incredible perfection of the ribeye. He even cut it with a fork to prove how truly tender it was. THIS MEAL AND DINING EXPERIENCE IS A DEFINITE 10 and more! Oh, and the French onion soup was amazing as well. The cheese was smoothly atop the toasted bread slice making it a delight to enjoy. Do not let the hotel location discourage any opportunity to delight in this ‘hidden jewel’ of outstanding dining. And, when you do go, ask for Trey. He is fun and very attentive. The top chef dropped by our table for our compliments. He was pleased to know how much we enjoyed his culinary talent. He plans a Thanksgiving buffet that he says will be over-the-top, which is sure to be remarkable!

    The service team in the restaurant and bar are superior. This is the second time I stayed here in the last chile of months. The first time, Brenda provided her services for me in the restaurant and the bar. She was great! She remembered me right away on this trip and made me feel right at home. I can’t say enough good things about her. In addition, I merry 2 more employees this trip, Ms Avis, restaurant receptionist and Abril. Abril was bartending. The 3 of them were so kind and fun. They are the reason I will return.
