   Slow service, but the waitress was very nice. The food was not good. Waitress did not check back with us to fill out drinks for to see if we were OK until the end. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

   This was my first visit to JPAN Sarasota and it will not be my last! Out of our party of 6 only one person was not completely satisfied and that was just with a side dish. She said that the steamed dumplings were okay but not great. There is always one person that complains. The other 5 of us were completely satisfied! I had fatty tuna sushi and it was awesome. Along with that I had shrimp tempura and it was some of the best that I have ever had. My wife had Udon noodles and she said that it was delicious, and my daughter and my niece both had had specialty rolls that they raved about. My sister-in-law is gluten free and the staff was more than accommodating. The other sister-in-law (the complainer) had steamed dumplings and spring rolls. Overall this was one of the best Asian meals that I have ever had in Sarasota. All of that said about the food, I have to say that the service was even better than the food. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. I could not be happier!!!

   This is a good sushi place. The atmosphere is a little bit lacking but the outsource seating seems very nice; the food was pretty good sushi rolls I got were both very tasty but some of the other food like that edomame and salads were just OK. I would definitely go back but it’s not a must

   The food was terrible. I had the fried rice and it tasted like pancakes. I also had the steam buns and there was no flavor and the pork was only fat and not meat.

   Had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday. Gustavo was very attentive to our group. Great food, drinks, and service.

   Such an amazing experience! The staff was great, our waitress was amazing, very friendly easy going. Made sure my husband and I had a great time. I ordered the evil eye drink which I knew was going to have a kick to it. I normally like spicy things. This drink was spicyyy! The waitress prime some simple syrup to help kick the spice. Will definitely be going back. Very clean restaurant bathroom was great. Wait time was great for a Sunday at 6 pm. Thank you
