Bad service and too noisy, constant pulsing club music and videos. It’s fine if you’re 21 and that’s your life but to make everyone deal with all that noise isn’t good for dinner conversation. Newer one in Long Beach is nicer and doesn’t have this trashy barrio vibe.

Kalaveras is our family’s new go to Brunch spot. We’ve spent a few birthdays and other celebrations here. The Sunday brunch buffet is amazing. A plethora of different dishes and Aguas Frescas to choose from. Would absolutely come here again.

Although the restaurant was packed, they got our large party seated right at our reservation time and the wait staff took great care of us. Food and drinks were great.

When we arrived, we were seated next to a group that was WAY too loud laughing and cursing. I knew I would not be able to enjoy our dinner. I asked the server to be moved and they set us up at better seating. The service was spectacular; thanks to Liz. Also, I had the best strawberry margarita I have had in a long time.

This was my first time to the restaurant we were there to celebrate my son‘s birthday. The food was outstanding. The roles that we ordered were good. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was great.

Service was good, drinks were great. Everyone's food was wonderful except the salad I got. I added steak and it was so dry, the salad was gritty and tasted bitter. The restaurant inside is very dark and dreary,
