   Server was very brusque, wouldn't even listen to how I wished my steak to be cooked as well as cutting me off while ordering. Ambience was lovely, but the temperature in the restaurant was freezing. Had to wear my jacket throughout the meal. Food was good, but not the level it should be for the price. Not a bad restaurant, but definitely not value for money.

   If you’ve never been to Waterdown, Kamoosh is the perfect reason to visit. This hidden gem offers outstanding food in a charming, tucked-away corner of town, making for a truly memorable dining experience. Did I mention that the food is incredible - let me say it again, THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE

   The food was good. Chicken Marsala and the duck risotto was excellent. The food came nice and hot. Very tasty. 4/5. But the service was horrible. Quickly seated and good for ordering. But after ordering we didn’t see our waitress during our meal. Nobody came to ask how our meals were or if we needed drinks. When we finished eating our mains we had to ask somebody to take our empty plates away after 10 minutes. Nobody asked if we wanted dessert. So we asked for the bill and received a pointed finger and a “just a sec,” by our waitress. Rude. Paid the bill. Horrible service and made to feel irrelevant in a place we’d never been to before. Shame. The food was very good. Thankfully our food came hot because another staffer was quick to bring it out. We won’t be back. Lots of other Italian places to go to with better service where I’m asked if I’m enjoying my meal, empty dishes are removed without being asked, and an enquiry whether we want dessert is made. The bad service overshadowed the good food. Ambiance was nice. Open kitchen. Loud because it was busy, which we didn’t mind.

   Nice business lunch. Sat near the window to brighten up our day. Warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. meals were great as I enjoyed the truffle cheese burger and my guest enjoyed his meal too. Always a solid experience at Kamoosh, our neighbourhood treasure.

    Great restaurant in waterdown that you wouldn’t expect locally. Has a downtown Toronto fibe, great atmosphere
