   Fantastic experience for our date. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The waiter, Morgan was great. He was attentive and personable and did a wonderful job. We ordered the fois gras poutine for an app and it was delicious, perfect amount of cheese and gravy with the fries. I had the wagyu ribeye that came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. The steak was tender and perfectly cook. It had a beautiful crust which added so much flavor. My wife had the scallops which had a beautiful risotto. We split a blueberry cake for dessert. Shoutout to Chef JB for a fantastic meal!

   The Valentine's Day dinner was epic... Got seated and the hostess brought us a bottle of water.... No glasses so we sat there and laughed about it and continued... Ordered drinks and waited... First course comes out still no glasses or drinks ... Finally a different waiter came over to bring the second course and we let him know about our drinks he very quickly returned with them .. coming into the 3rd course I got soup with was absolutely incredible accept for the fact I didn't get a spoon to eat it with so by the time I got one it was cold but very quickly was given a brand new hot dish... Then, we received the 6th course which was by total mistake and very delicious too by the way we had the most fun! Water with no glasses soup with no spoon and an extra course! Was epic the service was all in all very good, food was amazing.!!! Atmosphere was perfect !! Would give it 9.5 out of 10. I think there was some timing issues and new unfamiliar staff for the first time doing a 5 course meal setting it was very good and would definitely return again to see how they improved great job everyone who took part in the service!

   Kind staff, romantic ambiance, yummy food (although sometimes the temperatures were a bit off), great wine! We were really happy with the Valentine’s day course dinner.

   Valentine’s Day reservation, 85 pp and had a set menu. Even with the set menu, it just seemed like everyone running around like chickens.. my husband ordered 3 drinks, first drink it wasn’t the drink he ordered, second was correct, and the third didn’t come. I ordered 3 drinks, and only ever received one. So in total, out of 6 drinks ordered only 2 were correct and came.. the portions were INSANELY small. Even for a course meal.. my entree was the chicken, and it was dry and bland. The only thing worth while was the steak. The meal was over $200 before tip. Overall just really disappointed. I realize it’s busy, but with a set menu and reservations I’d expect much more ): the table next to us left before their third course without paying.

   Attention to detail on the service was 1st rate. Food was very tasty. Only bad experience was our reservation was fir 5:30. Never git seated until 6:20. Understandably the party prior to us was in no hurry to leave. I think a very tasteful reminder to that party that others were waiting on that table, could have been conveyed. Overall very good experience.

   The food was delicious however we were sat by a large garage door and it was cold. The server took our drink order then her and all of the rest of the FOTH staff including the hosts, disappeared into the kitchen for a half hour. There was nobody available to refill my husband’s drink. Not even a bartender. There was one other table but the place empty. Our food took a half hour and that’s when all the staff returned. The waitress was kind but not attentive. I will say the food was delicious and worth the wait.

   We had an incredible anniversary dinner at Kanu! The food was absolutely amazing.. every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was perfect for our celebration, and the service was excellent. We couldn’t have picked a better place for such a special occasion. Definitely highly recommend!

    Everything was perfect! Made a reservation for my birthday and had a fantastic time the drinks the food everything was amazing! I had the crab cakes as an appetizer, the Wagyu ribeye for my Maine course and the Oreo milkshake for dessert. Best milkshake I’ve ever had ❤️
