Wish there were more places by the Ahmanson. Aside from being out of a bunch of menu items, the food was not great and it’s defintiely not worth the money.

We had a very disappointing dining experience An employee opened the door because it was so heavy one could barely push it. Since I was last there a number of years ago, it was modernized which means ugly geometric wall decor. The noise level is horrible. I had to lean way in to talk to someone next to me. And that was with only two tables of people near us when we got there. The acoustics got worse the longer we were there and more people came in. The beet salad that we ordered to share was made with frisée lettuce, aka weed like greens, very unpleasant to eat, but what was worse was that the roasted beets, which normally should be on the sweet side were extremely salty. I’m not sure how two members of our party of our party enjoyed their cocktails, but my Sister‘s lemon drop was tiny. The presentation of the fish was ugly, with the skin side up and some roasted whole tomatoes which my husband doesn’t like. Linguine with shrimp would’ve been good if the shrimp had not been extremely salty. I was worried that someone is covering up old shrimp and then I might get sick, fortunately did not I had to ask for Parmesan cheese for the pasta. The good thing about them not offering nor having any prepared was that I I I believe it was shaved fresh. Out server was very nice. I wish I had her name to share. The meal was extremely overpriced for what was served. It’s good that they have a limited menu because they certainly can’t handle more than that. And the other issue was the odor going in to the restroom area is disgusting and has not been dealt with for some time according to employees. I will not be going back and do not recommend this restaurant, which is a shame because it’s very convenient to the theater

Service was great you have the nicest people working there.. It was perfect. The food was wonderful. It was a great experience and they got us out with plenty of time to get to the show. We’ve been here before we will be back.

We always love dinner at Kendall’s. The new menu is delightful and has some great new additions plus a few more vegetable options, which was much appreciated by some in our party. I had the duck confit, which was fork tender and had a good flavor. I did think, however, that it was a bit over salted. But not to the point of being displeasing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and our server was so helpful and charming that she put the star on top of the experience. We will be returning soon.

We always delight in a pre-theater meal at Kendall’s. We know the service and food will be top notch and we need merely meander over to the theater.y husband loved the Loup de Mer in the Buerre Blanc sauce. I always order the Steak Frites and am never disappointed. A special meal to complete a wonderful evening.
