   If you’re in Mexico City, you have to visit this place!! As someone who lives in London and travels a lot, this was one of my favourite dining experiences. Thanks for a beautiful Friday afternoon.

   Desde el momento en que entras al restaurante sabes que vas a un lugar especial. El trato es excelente y cada platillo es mejor que el anterior. Muy recomendado para celebrar en pareja

   Excellent omakase experience, we did the Kill Bill and you got a LOT of food. Each dish was delicious and unique, and it’s fun to watch them prepare the food. Service was very attentive as well! The restaurant is beautifully designed with a great ambiance, with rotating selection of jazz records being played in the background. Also, the bathroom has a heated Japanese toilet! Can’t wait to come back, great experience overall.

   Came for a 9:30 seating and we walked up a few mins before 9:30 and the previous seating was still finishing. We didn’t get seated until about 9:45pm. They didn’t tell us in advance that it was omakase only. We did the kill and the kill bill option with 2 pours of sparkling sake and our bill was $5,700 pesos (before tip). It was pretty overpriced for what you get in my opinion. It was definitely a lot of food and we were really full when leaving but for that much money I was expecting each course to be amazing and that wasn’t the case. We only selected the kill bill option because on the menu it said it came with wagyu but we didn’t get any. The kill bill option didn’t have too many differences and also came with a piece of rice with a full crab on it, which was not good, the full crab should not be eaten like that with the shell. I would understand if it was a deep fried soft shell crab but it was a hard crunchy shell and painful to eat and scratched up the inside of my mouth.

   No solo la comida está deliciosa, el servicio es de primera y te van guiando en cada platillo. Una experiencia que vale mucho la pena, sobre todo si te atiende el chef Gerardo! 👌🏻👌🏻 Muy recomendado el Omakase Kill Bill! 🤤🤤

   We had a lovely New Year’s Day omakase experience at Kill Bill Hi-Fi Sushi. What a truly special little restaurant! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with jazzy grooves playing on their Macintosh sound system, perfectly complementing the exceptional bites of food. The opening dish of sea bass on black seaweed was unforgettable, their house specialty tsukune robata grill was divine, and the toro with shiso was outstanding. Each dish arrived on stunning ceramic plates, enhancing the experience. Ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional. Highly recommend!

   I was lucky enough to enjoy the NYE omakase — truly an unforgettable experience. This may have been the best meal of my life — and incredible way to visit Japan while in Mexico City ❤️
