Food was awesome, servers were nice but obviously understaffed. Had reservations for 12:45 but arrived to a sign saying they had a long night and will be opening up at noon. Food and drinks were really good but I would love to go to brunch in ATL without spending $200 and auto gratuity for service that’s Definitely not worth $40 smh

Certainly! Here’s a harsh yet well-structured review for your experience at Kitchen Cray: A Complete Disaster – Avoid at All Costs I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, but my experience at Kitchen Cray was so appalling that I feel obligated to warn both OpenTable and the general public. This establishment is not designed for actual food consumers—it is a masterclass in incompetence, mismanagement, and sheer disregard for customer service. Let’s start with the basics. Despite having a reservation, we were forced to wait over an hour just to be seated. Once at our table, things only got worse. We sat there for another hour and a half without receiving so much as a glass of water or silverware. The lack of service was astounding—staff members were disengaged, inattentive, and completely indifferent to the customers’ needs. When the food finally arrived, it was an absolute joke. The eggs were inedible, and the buffalo wings? Clearly microwaved from frozen, still cold in the middle. If I wanted poorly reheated bar food, I could have stayed home and done it myself. The restaurant was woefully understaffed, but even the few employees present seemed unwilling or unable to provide even the bare minimum level of service. No check-ins, no reassurances—just pure negligence. The hostess disappeared as soon as we were seated, reappearing only to hand out shots of liquor to underage customers without even checking IDs. The bartender was overwhelmed and offered little in terms of actual service. To make matters worse, the owner was in the building—not helping, not stepping in to resolve issues, but instead strutting around with flashy jewelry, glued to his phone. It’s no surprise that Kitchen Cray has shut down in other locations—this place is a case study in failure. The only possible saving grace of the evening was the paint-and-sip event, and even the hostess for that seemed frustrated with the restaurant’s dysfunction. Do not waste your time

The food was good took 40 plus minutes to get food after a 25minute wait for water. Our reservation was for 9 we got sat at 9:27. Once we finally were sat we didn’t place our order till right before 10pm and were told that they were out of half of the menu they already minimized to have a focus for Valentine’s Day. The wings were really good our server was nice she was just overwhelmed and needed more support.

I made a reservation here for Valentine night at 8:15 and I ended up leaving around 835 because there were about 20 people with reservations at the door. No one was greeting us. No one was sending professional apology nor Thanks for your patience. The actual host that I didn’t know was a host walked right by us and the only thing that she exclaimed was Jesus Christ because it was a mob of people at the door waiting to get in and there was nowhere for us to sit. The restaurant was completely full. People were dining and people were also doing what appeared to be like a sip and paint on the other side of the restaurant at about 5 to 8 tables. This is a place I will never patronize.. they have completely missed the mark at customer care so I don’t know what the food tastes like. I can only give a perspective on being in this restaurant For a couple of minutes. But if anyone reads this, I would urge you to go to a restaurant where you know you will be taken care of because that’s the business of hospitality. and it wasn’t at this one.

OpenTable booked many reservations for the same time (on Valentine's Day). The restaurant gave us complimentary shots for the inconvenience. Value and food was great.

We had 7:00pm reservations on Valentine’s Day. We were one of the lucky ones to get seated on-time. We got our drinks in reasonable time. Then, we found out that many things weren’t available on the menu. Not a huge deal - we rolled with it. Entrees arrived in a decent amount of time - but we started to notice that people around us weren’t being taken care of - not water, no drinks, no apps. The crowd was building at the door - holding the door open with a strong, cold breeze filling the restaurant. The lack of service for everyone around us and the coldness of the room was giving us anxiety! We pressed our luck and ordered dessert. After a 40 minute wait - no bread pudding had arrived. Decided to skip dessert and free up our table for others. Our waitress was attentive, drinks were good, food was fine - but the chaos around us was a complete distraction.

Booked a reservation, just to be told the tables are full. Didn’t get an apology, just excuses. They tried to put me on a waitlist and never called. But it’s cool, I found a better place.

Kitchen Cray is a casual dining restaurant with great details on customer service and cuisine. Our waitress Diamond was very helpful, courteous and diligent. The drinks are well crafted. I would definitely return.
