   Great staff and great food. Portion very amenable to tapas style dinning so order 3-4 dishes per two people to try a variety of foods. Outside dinning is fun but bring a coat and a hat on cool nights if you are prone to get cold. A must try if in the area!

   Kitchen in the Desert is an interesting and delightful destination with flavor-packed offerings from the kitchen and friends service from the professional staff. It's sufficiently "funky," but all sorts of patrons and diners will feel comfortable, there!

   Such a special place in the middle of know where. You would’ve never thought how delicious there menu is until you walk in just feel the amazing desert vibe. There drinks were well balanced and there wonderful filet and lamp popes were to die for. Had an amazing experience and our waiter I don’t remember his name but was very helpful and personalized our dinner date we had. 10/10

   Terrible experience. We were seated and waited for over an hour but still didn’t get our food. Neither our waitress nor any of the other staff were helpful or apologetic about the delay even as other’s around us who arrived long after us had all received their food already. If you want an overhyped place trying to be hip/LA without being authentic or caring about their customers then this is the place to go to.

   We were a little thrown off when we arrived. The hostesses were deep in conversation with each other and a server and didn't acknowledge our group even after one of the girl's approached them. Not a great first impression but things quickly turned around once we were seated. Our server, Doug, was amazing! He checked in frequently, was personable, fun and kind. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails!

   Took 45 min to get our table even though we had a reservation. Kitchen was backed up, so we didn’t eat for about 45 min after sitting down. Mushrooms were slimey ans not good. The other dishes were okay. We had a 7pm reservation and didn’t leave until 945.

   Outdoor eating experience was amazing. Heaters kept us warm and we loved that the food was in served in stages and that we all shared each plate. The only downside to the whole experience was that the music was too loud (the music was nice), and it made it difficult for everyone at our table to hear each other talk.

    What a great surprise! Cool outdoor vibes, heat lamps and blankets provided, neat shops within the space. Food was absolutely outstanding. Cocktails the same- unusual and fantastic. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in ages, and that includes meals where I live in San Francisco. They happened to be short staffed the night we were there, but we enjoyed the music and cocktails and some shopping while we waited. SO good! I would come all the way back to 29 Palms, just to eat here again.
