   The open kitchen and patio setting add to the amazing food experience. The tomatoes with broad bean hummus is summer on a plate! The clams with the sourdough bread is what dreams are made of

   My spouse and I ate here for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We chose this restaurant based on the great reviews on Open Table and participated in the special, 4-course meal the restaurant offered for Valentines. The food was delicious. The serving staff was very attentive and helpful. Will eat here again when we are back in San Jose del Cabo!

   The setting is super cool/fun..feels archeological. Our waiter was a love...attentive and good at explaining the menu. Then food is adventuresome...with the best things coming out of the smokey charcoal oven...the smokey butter with the bread to start is great...sweet potato puffs simple and memorable...the shrimp empanadas super...the mains...ours were a fish dish and a cabbage cooked in the oven...with a bit of char..yum. Excellent cocktails. Highly recommend.

   this is a lovely open air restaurant, views of the kitchen, friendly English speaking staff, excellent food, the menu is relatively small but covers all the bases. The sourdough bread is amazing, the clams are large and flavorful, the fire roasted beets with gorgonzola fantastic. Great selections to share. The fish of the day was well prepared. Mussels with very good French fries were great. Nice cocktail list with a talented bar tender behind the bar. We have eaten here once a week for the last three weeks. Very consistent. Definitely recommend a reservation.

    Kitchen was a recommendation from another fantastic restaurant in San Jose. We got the chefs tasting menu paired with the cocktail sampler. The ambiance and decor is unique and all open air with the kitchen being visible from all tables in the restaurant (yes chef). Friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. The timing for the cocktail pairing/sampler did not coincide with the dishes, and they thought we already finished the entree course when we had not received it yet (got busy half way through our dining experience). Very minor and I’m likely too critical. They were very kind about it and even took care of some drinks we had. I would highly recommend this spot! Conveniently located in the town of San Jose del Cabo and walkable or a short taxi/Uber from the SJD resort strip.
