   I’m afraid this restaurant is extremely overpriced compared to other fine dining experiences we have had. Presentation was mediocre, taste was OK, ambiance was really non inspiring, I dare sat pretty buzz killing. We went there for the Valentine weekend on Saturday and there was nothing romantic or special there. Our bill was $350 for 2 people and we have had definitely much more pleasant experiences in so many other restaurants.

   This is a beautiful environment. Our waiter was very attentive and efficient. The food was delicious. We went for lunch and enjoyed it.

   Service was great and apps fantastic. Heavy hand on the oils for a salad but still tasty. Pasta and sea bass were unfortunately bland for me and my friends. Much more could’ve been done with the decor in main dining room as it was a bit basic. Entrance is nice with the marble. Having that touch in the dining room would’ve elevated the spot.

   I went for dinner with a few friends and the food was ok but the ambience could be better. Considering the restaurant is fairly new, I feel the designers and colour specialist should have chosen a better option( wall are stark white) Looks like primer is on the walls. On a positive note, waiter was great and had a good sense of knowledge of the menu and recommendations.

   First time at La Baracca, went there to celebrate my birthday. Service was 10/10 our server was great with explaining the menu & answering any questions we had. The food was delicious, we started with the mushroom salad & calamari, I got the special which was gnocchi bolognese 10/10 & my best friend got the tagliatelle with sugo 10/10. The only negative comment I have is the restaurant was very bright, they should definitely dim the lights maybe play some background music.

   This was my second time at La Baracca. The food was very good and our waiter was terrific. We did find that, considering the restaurant was almost empty at the time we went, as of group of 5 we were place in the table in the corner that is right behind the doors to go outside. It was -15 the night we went and while it didn’t ruin our evening, it was a tad annoying to feel the cold breeze with every open and close. It was quiet as not many people were there. The corner was cozy and personal, but again, a bit cold at times. Overall a great experience!

    This restaurant has restored my faith in hospitality. Our group of 5 had a perfect evening from the moment we sat down to the last sip of coffee. Best steak I have had in years.
