   Really enjoyed our visit to LaBarra. I have a food allergy to soy and the caring attention I received was OUTSTANDING. Cava sangria was delicious and we enjoyed all the tapas we had with standouts being the gazpacho, the tortilla de patatas and the croquetas de pollo. The extra attention we received from Jordi transformed a well-lit restaurant into what felt like a lovely dinner at a friend's home. Thank you so much!

   Wonderful tasting food. I wish the portions are slightly larger. also two special items were out of stock at 6 pm. Disappointed.

   We ordered the chicken croquettes and they were cold. The place is very loud and the hard to get attention for any service. We waited 10 mins before being served. Not a good experience

   Food lacked flavor. We ordered Jamón Ibérico de Bellota which was one of their most expensive Spanish hams and it had very little flavor....also ordered several other dishes...no real flavor. Also had chicken croquettes...again lacked much flavor. Drinks were good. But I would try another one of the Spanish restaurants and skip this one.

   The food was delicious and the Palomas were super refreshing! We ordered the oysters as our appetizer, and the shrimp and mushroom rice as entrees. We liked the shrimp so much we had to get a second order! The garlic oil pairs perfectly with the bread that is served with the dish, would definitely visit again!!

   the food is very good, energetic atmosphere and ambience. service could be better but overall everyone us very cordial. great stop if youre around Hudson Yards, High Line or Hudson River park!

   The quality of food and of service have greatly declined. We love José Andrés and his restaurants, but have given up on Spanish Diner, and as of yesterday, have given up on La Barra. Same issues and no resolution. Service is mediocre, at best. No special attention to the customer. Had to consistently flag down server. Delays in receiving refills in cup of wine, etc. The Entradas were hit or miss, not the expected, and previously, fabous food. The paella was tasteless - also unexpected. Been to Jaleo in DC, and that remains consistently great - great service and food. The whole Spanish Diner and La Barra set-up needs to be re-done. Bad service and mediocre food. Will look elsewhere in NYC for Spanish food.

    It was fine. The food was good but not great. The bread was good, food seemed fresh. The shrimp wasn't really cooked properly. The staff were very kind. Music was too loud for a dining room. It was difficult to talk to each other at the table. The volume was more fit for a bar.
