    Fue nuestra segunda visita, y creo que la primera fue mejor. La relación calidad-precio podría mejorar, la calidad de los alimentos, así como la innovación en los mismos me parece muy buena, sin embargo, pedí un cocktail con maracuyá la cual venía asentada en el fondo y no venía con removedor, ahora consideran 1.5h entre reservas y la verdad que no es suficiente para poder llegar al postre, cancelé uno de los tacos y fue el primero que me sirvieron, al comentarle al mesero, me discutió y terminé por aceptarlo, la verdad que la atención fue mejor la primera vez. Los baños están en Tulia y son algo incómodos, esperaría más de un lugar que supone ser de los mejores en Mérida y el mundo.

    Unusual tasting menu concept with each course served on a type of masa- taco, tostada, etc. The food was well presented and very tasty!

    La experiencia es buena, aunque cometieron errores importantes en el servicio como ignorar una alergia a alimentos previamente señalada al igual que ignoraron las especificaciones en mi orden. La calidad de los alimentos no está de acuerdo al precio, considero que al ser un Omakase especializado en maíz no deberían darte un taco con tortilla recalentada, mala y tiesa. El lugar es lindo, pero el aire acondicionado te da directo y no pueden acomodar la ventila aunque lo solicitamos y éramos varios a los que nos incomodaba.

    A fantastic new (5 months) restaurant in Merida. We had a six-course meal, and each plate was better than the next.

    My boyfriend and I dined here for my birthday, and I am so glad we chose to celebrate at La Barra. We both selected the 6 piece omakase. The chefs chose different dishes for us for each course, so we shared and were able to try everything. Standouts were the shrimp taco, fish tostada, and the coconut tamal, but all of the dishes were stunning. Watching the chefs work behind the counter added to the experience and the space itself is beautiful and intimate. This will be remembered as one of our favorite dining experiences, and a wonderful end to our stay in Merida.
