   Our waiters and waitresses were very attentive and fun! Our food was of the finest quality and we enjoyed it very much. The ambience was romantic and like a fairytale.

   La Giostra offers a mixed bag of experiences, making it a place worth visiting if ambiance is your top priority but perhaps not if you're seeking exceptional food or attentive service. Firstly, the ambiance is undeniably impressive. It's clear that a lot of thought went into creating a space that feels both inviting and comfortable. Whether you're on a date or out with friends, the setting is ideal for a pleasant evening out. It’s not the best place for intimate or quiet discussions, but if you're looking for a vibrant atmosphere, this might be just what you’re after. The food, unfortunately, was average at best. While the menu offered a variety of dishes that sounded delicious, the actual execution was somewhat lackluster. The flavors were fine, but nothing stood out as particularly memorable or exciting. It’s the kind of meal you might expect from a chain restaurant rather than a unique dining establishment. One major downside was the service. After being seated, we found that the wait staff rarely checked in on us. There were long gaps between visits, and getting someone's attention for additional requests or refills was a challenge. This lack of attentiveness detracted from the overall dining experience. La Giostra excels in creating a beautiful and lively environment but falls short in terms of food quality and service. It’s worth a visit for the ambiance alone, especially if you’re in the mood for a high-energy setting, but manage your expectations regarding the culinary and service aspects.

   It was fantastic! We were a rowdy bunch for a wedding and they were more than accommodating. Please get the Pear ravioli. It is amazing you won’t regret it

   An amazing dinner on every level. Service was phenomenal. Definitely get the Baratta. Probably the best I ever had. I had the steak with garlic, my husband had the veal osso bucco and our friend had the pasta with ragu . Every dish was exceptional!! A must restaurant if you are in Florence but you won’t get in without a reservation and you need to book weeks or even months ahead.
