   Despite many open 4 top tables that remained empty during our visit, they refused to let my party of 2 sit at one. The server we had was very inattentive, and never offered drink refills. He also forgot to put our desert order in and made no apology. The food was good, but the service ruined a birthday dinner.

   I have been coming to this restaurant more than 7 times and some extra in union square where I always found the same thing and I am one of those people who does not like to return the food since I have worked in the industry for more than 15 years, but this time the quality has dropped too much. I ordered 2 escargots which is really what attracted my children to this restaurant and we have always ordered new things to continue knowing, but my disappointment was in this reservation where the flavor had nothing to do with it. A previous time it had happened to me that I ordered an Australian rib eye and they brought me steak and potatoes and I did not say anything so I tried to eat and I just leave it because I know that mistakes can happen and more in a very busy place but this time I wanted a wagyu and I ordered it from the first moment it arrived I said it's strip steak it blew my mind by the confusion but I star cutting but it was too hard that my children knowing that I do not like to return the food so they tried to eat as well to be sure I was right and yes that was impossible, to which they ended up convincing me to tell the waiter but to my surprise he only saw the plate and he went to call the manager when the manager arrived and he did the same thing just look the plate and that’s it, they didn't even come close to the plate to see if it really was the cut or take it to the kitchen to evaluate it, they just left me as it was, no problem, so for me it’s like they will sell me whatever thy want assuming that I don't know about cuts... It's worth noting that my plate was in the second sitting far from the manager, so if anyone goes to this restaurant, which brought back many memories for me which my family , make sure you know what you're ordering so they don't give you wherever they want because it’s your experience it’s your money..

   The food was well prepared. We had the specialty salad, the salmon and the steak & fries. The cocktail was delicious, Le Vie En Rose. Our waiter was wonderful. Attentive and gave us wonderful suggestions. The lemon tart was also wonderfully prepared. My only criticism was that I was looking forward to ordering from the dinner menu. I thought I could for a 4pm reservation, but unfortunately not. I did peruse the menu options but I did not see times on the dinner or lunch menu. There is one on the late lunch. I will most likely return since the bar was beautiful and the ambiance was very relaxing. Great place to have a drink before a show!

   We had a family birthday brunch sitting 'outside' (in the atrium). It was the perfect restaurant - a bit upscale French - with excellent service, very good French omelettes, lovely ambiance.

   Not a good experience. Place is cool has nice ambiance but was very crowded and loud. Then it took a turn for the worse when I ordered a medium rare dry aged MY strip and they brought me a medium to medium well done ribeye. They tried to tell me it was a strip but then I cut into it and showed them the temp and they said “oh that’s no good” took it away and 5 minutes later brought a completely different looking steak (a strip go figure)! Mistakes happen and I know they and don’t typically write to bad of a review but for the money we paid for an anniversary dinner in NYC we were quite disappointed.

   I was very unimpressed with this restaurant. To start off, our server was extremely rude—not polite at all and barely said a word, not even a “Hello” or “Welcome.” She insisted we place our order quickly because her shift was ending, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Our second server wasn’t any better—she completely ignored part of our entrée order and only brought out one dish. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my husband’s steak, which ended up being completely flavorless. Overall, it was a disappointing experience

   Just another generic french restaurant, cleverly installed in a huge hallway. Great for the tourist and after theater crowd. The food is as blah as most of Broadway today and as overpriced.

    We went for our anniversary dinner and we had a great experience, the server and the assistant were on top all the time . Food was delicious, I had the best seafood salad and lobster pasta in my life .
