   We went for a family birthday. The best meal I've eaten out in YEARS! Beautiful old building, spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful staff. The food was delicious. We all had the calzone. It tasted fresh, was piping hot and was absolutely delicious. To top off an amazing evening, as it was Mother's Day, every 'mum' at each table was given a complimentary glass of fizz! I would definitely recommend and will be back as soon as we have another birthday!

   We were a group of 7 and everyone agreed their meals were excellent. The service was great and the restaurant has a great style & feel to it. We will definitely be going again.

   Our party of 7, including a 3 year old, were welcomed and made to feel relaxed and comfortable. The food was authentic Italian and the building makes a great venue for a leisurely meal.

   Stayed in York for a few days and passed this lovely Italian. decided to book and go along for a meal and so glad we did! Had a bottle of the house Red which was very reasonable and ordered some great Italian food also. Service great, Food great and all for a reasonable price ( for these days ). Highly recommended

   A little gem in an historic building but nothing historic about the food and experience. A wonderful meal and the service truly incredible . Hospitality is saved if all like this. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

   Fabulous restaurant, staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was delicious, my only criticism would be that their gluten free options are limited.

   Nice place with main courses being very well priced although the starter was very overpriced for what we had (we had the Antipasta Della Casa). The food quality and presentation was excellent, the team were good and we would definitely go back.

   Warm and friendly service and great food. We each had two courses from the set menu and a glass of wine and it was great value. Really lovely place definitely be back. Thank you
