   Understand it was Christmas but feel they “bit off more than they could chew”.Long wait for food; didn’t check with table for drink refills; very loud and crowded; although beautifully decorated, Christmas “ spirit” was not present. Small mixed drink was $21 ! Then to top it off, gave you a $20 certificate to return but had to be between January 1 -February 28 ! And they charge you extra for using a credit card !

   Such a wonderful dining experience every time! Incredible service (and the cutest servers ever) only outdone by the quality, preparation and presentation of the food.

   It was our first visit to La Vista. We will definitely return. The food was delicious and substantial. The service was outstanding. It was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was very well attended with a price fix menu. The selections were varied to satisfy any preference. It was crowded but the wait staff handled it without a hitch. They were amazing and actually made our evening pleasurable to the point of wanting to return. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   A very disappointing experience on Christmas Eve.,,first, we had to wait 40 miniutes past our reservation time, before we were seated. We were invited to wait at the bar (which was almost empty) , but it took 20 minutes to be served a cocktail. When we were finally seated, we were seated at a table for 12, though there were only 2 in our party. So, we got past the weird looks, 2 of us sitting at a table for 12, and the first course came quickly. But, as soon as the main entrees were served, I hardly had a couple of bites, when we were asked to move to a smaller table. I declined to move, quickly finished our entrees, and elected to take our desserts home. Not the cheerful relaxed dinner I was looking forward to. As far as the food goes, I give it an average of 4.5, as the Halibut disappointed. But the rest were very good: smoky Manhattan- 5; beet salad-4; lobster bisque-4.5 (but salty); filet mignon-4.5; Halibut stew-3 (fish was dry and I didn’t care for the shrimp and clams in the sauce); Sauvignon Blanc-5; Tiramisu-5. Obviously, they were very busy for the holiday, but they need to reduce the number of reservations for a better dining experience.

   We had a wonderful dinner last night at La Vista. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays beautifully, with a roaring fire making it feel cozy and warm. The service was excellent. My water glass was never more than half empty! And the food was divine. I had the fillet of sole, pistachio crusted with lobster sauce. It was excellent. And my partner had the tableside Cacio & Pepe. It's great to have such a gem of a restaurant in our local area. I highly recommend. This was not the first time we were there and we look forward to many more perfect dinners!

    Our third time dining ther and a very nice lunch. The service is the best possible as everyone ther e is just great, the arrival greeting, our server Grant and team, everyone. We have had great experiences there but today was just good not great in terms of the food prep. Fantastic friendly service is so enjoyable.
