    A nice find for a pleasant and delicious evening meal. My duck was excellent and the wine paired was equally excellent. We will certainly be coming back when again in the New Forest.

    Having been badly let down by a famous local chain we booked here for a birthday meal. So glad we did. Lovely staff. Delicious food that we thought was good value for the quality. A nice buzz atmosphere. They gave us a lovely evening. Chapeau!

    The decor is a bit strange- mock French village restaurant somewhat tiered and not quite pulling it off. The selection of beer was very poor, a choice of French lagers would have been nice, the wine list, all French, gave plenty of choice. It was great to be served by “real “ French front of house staff and the food was delicious with good sized portions and great patisserie for dessert.
