    Who would have thought that vegetables could look and taste so good? Portions looked small but were filling. Unique dining experience that should be tried by all.

    Top-to-bottom this was the best dining experience we have ever had. The chef clearly loves his craft. We also enjoyed Petit Comptoir the following morning -- it was just as good and I recommend it as well!

    Intimate counter setting makes for a special experience. The dishes were all meticulously prepared and presented. Absolutely delicious food, bursting with fresh, well balanced flavors. Chef and staff exceptional.

    Six diners at the restaurant and we we were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation. No decor and just a handful of diners at a counter watching the food be prepared. A really great experience and wonderful food.

    The Evening at Le Comptoir was a truly incredible dining experience. I commented that if I were a Michelin star chef, I can’t think of a better way to share my craft than to host a small group of interested guests each night to deliver an intimate, deliberate experience. The food was fantastic, and watching Chef plate it up each course with deliberate effort and focus was really delightful. Thank you for such a fun night!

    A perfect experience. We wouldn't change a thing. Every part of each dish was thoughtful, balanced, and out of this world delicious. Dining at Le Comptoir will be a memory my partner and I cherish forever.

    Wonderful dining at one of the first restaurants in LA to receive a Michelin star we they came in back in 2019. Chef Gary Menes trained under great chefs through out NYC and France. The 8 course meal was phenomenal. Each course was independent and special. The flavors were amazing. Small intimate space -counter seating-so u can watch the magic. Highly recommend.
