Executive chef: Chef Rob Feenie

From the OpenTable editors: This French fine-dining icon has dazzled Vancouverites since 1983. Legendary chef Michel Jacob passed the torch to his friend and Iron Chef America winner Rob Feenie in 2024, and Feenie still celebrates the restaurant's French origins while incorporating some of his West Coast roots. Expect Dover sole deboned tableside in an herb beurre blanc, steak tartare, and other classics served in an elegant white tablecloth dining room.

                                                      we have been going to LeCrocodile for a very long time. Chef Feenie has kept up its excellence and improved it somewhat. And the staff? Amazing. Keep it up! We will be back.

                                                      I absolutely love French cuisine and Rob Feenie has nailed it at this restaurant! I think the acoustics needs a little help. It was a bit too noisy, but the food was superb as was the service.

                                                      We were seated at a table for two just next to the entrance to the kitchen and bathrooms. Wedding anniversary dinner, which we have had here a few times. As an architect, I recommend you build a light screen between this table and the entry to kitchen and washrooms. This would be doable and provide much better intimacy and privacy to this table. I found it quite distracting with wait staff and washroom visitors going by so close. Generally food was great with some exceptions. Lamb saddle were surprisingly flavourless, and the accompanying veggies could have been better prepared to enhance their unique flavors but were presented close to raw; ok but could be better. Otherwise thumbs up.

                                                      Very beautiful place, we booked here for our anniversary dinner. Frozen Vesper was great, food was spectacular. Wine selection for our meal was well matched. The waiter was good up until the point that I had an almost full glass of rose spilled on me. He assisted in getting napkins to clean up, and we tried to ensure him we understood it was an accident and they happen. But after it kind of felt like he was avoiding us, I get that it was embarrassing for him and uncomfortable for me as I sat in a puddle of rose and took of my jacket because the sleeves were soaked. But we tried to make light of it and to have a pleasant night because it was our anniversary. I think if I had been him I would have gone over the top in attention. At least I got a free glass of wine and a cleaning bill. Still it was a good evening and loved the food.

                                                      6 months ago my only complaint was about my chair being uncomfortable; no problem this time. The food and service were both top notch. My spouse, initially skeptical, really liked the tuna appy.
