Overall, we felt the experience was disappointing . To get to the restaurant you have to navigate through a portion of the casino that is quite empty and lifeless. I guess that prepares you for what I would describe as a descent into dungeon which is the reception area. And won’t let you in a minute before the restaurant opens because they keep the elevators locked. While the decor of the new restaurant is nice , the menu is a far cry from what they’ve offered previously . We ordered an octopus appetizer that was pathetic. One very small limp tentacle on a bed of salad that was obviously prepared well in advance. When we asked for some plain white rice to accompany a salmon dish we had ordered we were rudely told it was not available. The only option was fries, which were oily. For one shared appetizer and two entrées our bill was over $200 for two people . We did not have any beverages, wine, coffee, or dessert. We kind of feel ripped off given the overall quality of the experience. Our advice would be “ stay away”. While the buffet upstairs has some of its own shortcomings, it’s a much better environment and a much greater value for the money.
