   Charming bistro with excellent and unusual menu. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and our waitress Alice was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

   Lovely atmosphere here, and great food, my lamb and flageolet beans was divine, the gurnard beautifully treated and the ox cheek with snails a big hit. I do find this habit of charging for a full dish but only giving you half of it, forcing you to pay more for sides slightly irritating, but despite this it was a lovely meal.

   Stunning lunch. Everything was delicious. So simple and perfectly executed. it’s so refreshing to eat out where the chef has no ego and lets the quality of the produce shine. The only problem now is deciding whether to eat here or Emilia………

   Interesting menu - if we go again I’d like to try more of the smaller dishes, because chicken is, well, chicken. Beetroot salad was fabulous and the pudding delicious. My main problem is that the acoustics are really poor and that detracts from the ambiance. Nice simple decor, cosy fire - all very pleasant.

    A lovely French version of the sister restaurant Emilia’s. Don’t be fooled by the apparent simplicity of either restaurant, the attention to every little detail is extremely high. Beautiful food and lovely level of service. It’s no surprise we are one of many repeat customers.
