Our menu changes seasonally to feature the freshest ingredients and provide an exciting dining experience throughout the year.

The Lemon Grove Bistro is in a historic mission-style building in the heart of Lemon Grove. Since 1912, it’s been a place where locals meet and build connections, whether they were picking up their mail at the Sonka General Store in 1944 or ordering custom cakes at the Grove Pastry Shop in 2012.

Join us at Lemon Grove Bistro on February 14th for a pre fixe four course menu including delicious, one night only eats by our renowned chef. You will enjoy a shared appetizer of your choosing between salmon potato croquettes or cauliflower fritters as the first course, followed by our exceptional golden beets carpaccio as your second course. Your incredibly flavorful options for the third course are a house marinated grilled shrimp, filet mignon au poivre, or a butternut squash ravioli. The last and most mouth watering course is our heart shaped lava cake that pairs beautifully with a glass of red wine.

From the moment we got there the service was great. The food was awesome and it was nice and quiet. We were a group of 10 and our server took care of us in a great way we never needed anything. He was right there.

Came here after reading reviews from other diners. I can say this restaurants lives up to the 5 star hype. We had a large party of 7 to celebrate a birthday. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and had good recommendations from the menu. I do like they have a pretty robust seafood selection. Our table started off with mussels and clams and the crab cakes appetizers -- both were delicious. I have the Fisherman's Stew, which was excellent and very hearty. The portions are generous and I ended taking the other half home. I think this is a great place for a casual dinner where the food is still excellent without having to get all dressed up. There's also a large patio area and I can see that being lively during the summer. This is a solid place and I definitely recommend!

Little local restaurant, family owned. What it lacks in a 'formal' appearance, it more than makes up, in flavor & service. Every dish is delicious, & we always feel well taken care of. We'll continue to have date night dinners there!

We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and the restaurant allowed us the opportunity to stay and celebrate without the rush to leave. Food was excellent and service was great. I’ll definitely be back again.

We come here for all our birthdays and the food quality never disappoints! Ordered the Mushroom Ravioli today, but we’ve had the Paella, Pasta, and Veef plate with mashed potatoes and we want to kiss the chef every time.

One of my favorite places. This time we had the lasagna and the fisherman’s stew. Excellent, friendly service and wonderful food. I highly recommend you give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!
