   The food was way below average. Some of it tasted like it came from a can… Everything was overcooked except for the grilled cheese, which was way undercooked, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Will not return.

   Second time dining here. Excellent service both times. Between the groups I dined with, we probably had a variety of 10 entrees and all were 10/10. Delicious cocktails and divine desserts. Butter cake was phenomenal and the cannolis were scrumptious. Can’t wait to go back!

   We felt a little bad for our waiter who was new as it was obvious he had not been properly trained by the management on serving/pouring of drinks and timely follow up. The wine server as well struggled opening a bottle of wine and presenting properly. Also some of the other staff who came by didnt follow up- so missed opportunities for drinks. Food and environment was great, service and overall experience could have been better.

   - skip the charcuterie platter which mainly consisted of folded grocery store deli meats, a few squares of cheese, anda small portion of burrata. Orecchiette with sausage and broccolini had large broccoli stems instead of broccolini.

   Made last minute reservations here for my wife’s birthday. Food was good. Not as good as a lot of the other comparable Italian spots in Raleigh. Colletas, Cuciollo Terazza, and Mulinos we felt had better food and menu options. The buttery cake dessert was best course of the night. It was phenomenal and we would return solely based off this dish alone. Waiter was polite, attentive and meals came out timely. Good decor and ambience in the restaurant. This would have been an easy 4 star meal but I put in the notes and told our hostess it was my wife’s birthday hoping for just a small candle in our dessert. This request was never met. Overall price for the food and service we got I was pleased with and we had a great evening dining here.

   The overall experience was great but the initial seating and our wait for a server put a bit of a disheartening mood on the start of the evening. I think I would go back, the food was good, the drinks were strong.

   The food was amazing. Highly recommend the pasta bolognese (the gluten free version is just as good). Service was excellent. Friendly host and waitress. We were on vacation looking for good Italian food and this was definitely the right place.
