   We love L’Escale but I felt misled by our server on Valentine’s Day on my main course. I was told that I was getting a whole lobster out if its shell on pasta so I switched to this instead of steak. There was only pieces in the pasta not close to even a half a lobster. I usually don’t comment but for the Valentine’s Day price very disappointing (even though I was not paying). Hoping it was an off day.

   Excellent evening. Valentine’s dinner, food and service was great. Noisier than we expected but the other aspects made up for that.

   This place is absolutely amazing. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious. The environment was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come here again.

   Our dining experience in the lounge at L'Escale was excellent, in terms of the quality and the satisfaction of the food and the serving experience. The portions were on the small side and the prices were high, so you have to be prepared for that.

   While I expect high prices at L'Escale, I was not prepared to receive a $24 salad (without protein) served in a soup bowl!! This is beyond reasonable!

   The appetizers and desserts were good. Main courses all terrible. The sommelier recommended roasted chicken with the wine we picked. The chicken was terrible! Very chewy and tasteless. The lobster diablo was horrible. Pasta overcooked and watery. Did you guys change chefs?? The wait staff was ANNOYING! They were very intrusive. While we appreciate being attended to - none of them did it quietly. They always interrupted our conversations and just were always ‘in our face’. The nosie level was beyond! Not a relaxing nor tasteful evening at all. Give your wait staff lessons in serving please. They were rough and classless. Give your chef some lessons on how to properly roast a chicken and ahhh how to make and DRAIN the pasta. Very disappointed! And it was my birthday dinner celebration.

    L’Escale offers an undeniably elegant dining experience, with a beautiful waterfront setting and a refined ambiance. The food was exceptional, and the service was polished, though the overall atmosphere felt quite stuck up. There was a noticeable lack of diversity among both the patrons, which made the experience feel somewhat exclusive in a way that wasn’t entirely welcoming. That said, our server was outstanding—attentive, professional, and especially wonderful with my 6-year-old. If you’re looking for a sophisticated dining experience, L’Escale delivers, but be prepared for a setting that leans more towards old-school exclusivity than warm hospitality.
