   We were there to Celebrate a birthday. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. Service, food, drinks. Overall great first visit but definitely not last.

   My wife and I ordered the Garden Omelette, classic Eggs Benedict, and an almond latte. All were amazing. Great service and atmosphere. Restrooms are very clean.

   By far our favorite restaurant in Montecito. Rack of lamb and veal Milanese were delicious. Desserts were amazing, especially the tiramisu.

   My lamb chop dinner was very good but the mashed potatoes were cold. Branzino fish dinner, ordered by two others, was very good. Wine by the glass was more expensive for the equivalent at other nice local restaurants. The bread was just okay. Our waiter was very nice and mostly attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant felt more cafeteria-like than that of being a warm evening restaurant. The lighting was fully bright and the noise level is high. We also felt a bit rushed to leave the restaurant since, surprising to us, they close at 9PM on a Saturday evening.

   We LOVED the bread! Had the turkeybclub which literally fell apart ( the bread) while trying to eat. Cobb salad had barely any bleu cheese. Dessert brownie was awesome. Pretty space, good service.

    My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Lilac last night. It was our first time. Neither of us are gluten-free, so that wasn't the draw for us, but we just kept hearing how delicious the food was, so we wanted to check it out. The atmosphere is so charming and delightful, like being in Paris. The little jam salad was definitely a highlight, and the buffalo cauliflower was a delightful surprise!! We also had the pasta special of the day, which was also delicious. They have a wide selection of wine and beer and we followed up with a delicious carrot cake and raspberry sorbet for dessert. The service was friendly yet professional. Overall that was a great experience and we look forward to returning!
