   We decided on the set menu for Valentines day with the wine pairings. We both thought it was about a 6 out of 10. Fairly basic, nothing special. The wine pairing was not worth the cost.

   We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day at Lina’s, enjoying the templated menu. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the service was very efficient.

   Good food and good service, and best yet the cost is reasonable for the current economy. The chef, Angelo, is offering food true to an Italian trattoria.

   It’s was a cold cold February day, and we were seated by the door and we were quite cold. It was also very busy and not another place to seat all of us- so we understood, nothing they can do about the weather. Only complaint was the pasta did not seem homemade, which we assumed it would be at a Trattoria, but still very tasty! Pizza was delicious, So was the Arancini!

   Very traditional Italian trattoria the fire oven pizza is amazing you must try, great atmosphere and wonderful customer service especially Angelo. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back for many more events.

   Overall service was lacking at this restaurant. I booked this restaurant for my 30th birthday with my partner. Right away, we were sat by the door, which isn’t a problem but it was freezing. We requested to move right away, our server stated the restaurant was fully booked so they wouldn’t be able to accommodate our request. We both noticed throughout the night that there were multiple tables we could have been moved too, which was quite upsetting for a customer that had a reservation. We ordered some drinks, which took a while to come to our table. The food was good, the pizza and calamari was the best part. One important part of customer service is checking on your customer and how their food is, our server didn’t ask us once how our food was, we were missing an item so my partner had to flag down our server to get it, once it was brought no ask of how everything was so far. We had to flag our server down again to ask for more drinks, and those again took forever and we were basically finished our dinner by the time the second drinks came. The atmosphere was great, but overall as stated in the beginning, the service was lacking major. I am a little disappointed I choose this restaurant to celebrate an important birthday.

   Hi Amy, Terribly sorry to hear that your experience was not amazing! We obviously strive for great food, service, and ambiance and fell very short on your birthday. We are following up with your server this week to address these critical misses and will be using it as a training tool. So though tough to hear we do appreciate the feedback. We can't go back and fix these mistakes but we would like to arrange for you and your partner to come back in to see how service is meant to go.     The team at Lina’s are exceptional. The food is fantastic. If you were looking for somewhere that made you feel totally comfortable and fed your soul - this is a great place to start.
