   What a gem! Nestled on the corner of the block - it's such a great spot for brunch. Dani, our server, was so kind and responsive and the food was A++++. The beignets were so good and the mushroom omelet took the cake! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

   We were in NY for a break from the UK . A friend had recommended this place , it also had the attraction of being where the Friends TV show apartment outside shot was taken . Wife’s a big fan of Friends . I had the NY Petit Strip , amazing , my wife had the sea bass special risotto - all absolutely amazing . Service was brilliant . Explaining about the dishes . Place was full and lively but just the right balance for a NY restaurant. Brilliant . Will definitely be back when we next come to NY . Thanks to everyone at the Little Owl x

   Great food, thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable service! We split 2 apps and they brought them out as half servings for each of us! A very small thing but really impressed us.

    Needed a restaurant close to the theatre so the location perfect. Set on a beautiful Greenwich Village side street. It was absolutely perfect. We didn't realize there were two parts to the restaurant so were seated in the restaurant part down the street. The food and service excellent and had a lovely upbeat vibe to it. We sat in the table by the window so had a connection to the outside. The server was helpful and upbeat but the food was the star. Sunflower salad and eggplant parmiigiana just divine - baked not fried - the chef's secret. We each had a fish entree - portion size really nice and cooked to perfection bursting with fresh flavors. My friend had the char which she loved especially the preparation of the vegetables with the char and I had the sea bass special which was divine. I didn't want to overeat so decided there was no way I was going to put it in the trash so asked for a takeaway container. Highly recommend and look forward to returning when I am in the Village looking for a restaurant with great ambiance, service and food. Brava Little Owl.
