Service and food were fantastic as usual. It is our go to place while in town. Relaxed atmosphere, simple but great menu. Always worth a visit in a Portland hidden gem.

Our first time visiting since the new owners took over. The happy hour is great and goes until 6 pm, which is very generous. We had deviled eggs , mussels and a delicious smash burger. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!

We had a good solid meal. The polenta fries with aioli and the figgy cheesecake were the favs. I had the Salmon ( new to the menu) which was cooked to perfection. The new big live wood edge tables are beautiful as well as the Christmas tree. Overall a good night. Please bring back your Onion Soup as it was one of the best I ever had when I was there last year.

Pub atmosphere and service were okay, but the quality of the food and mixed drinks were inconsistent. The fruity mocktail with chocolate bitters should be taken off the menu and the chicken breast on the beet salad was dry and cold. Overall, there are much better pubs to frequent in Portland. That said, if you need a place to grab some quick basic food before a concert, this place will do.

I’m a little embarrassed to say how good a salad was, but the Caesar salad with anchovies was the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. The main course was great also. I had the salmon and my wife had the lobster. Small menu but what they serve is very good.
