Locanda Verde is our neighborhood osteria serving Chef Andrew Carmellini's soul-satisfying urban Italian cuisine.

Our bustling Tribeca corner restaurant has been welcoming New Yorkers morning, noon and night since 2009 with a warm and comfortable atmosphere, leisurely Italian spirit and heartfelt cooking. In 2024, we opened our second location uptown on the prime, street-level corner of 50 Hudson Yards, bringing our downtown sensibilities and iconic urban Italian menu to an exciting new neighborhood.

We had business dinner reservations and were escorted to the bar area table. Nicely ask hostess to be seated in the main dining room. She was absolutely rude and obnoxious in the way she stated that all the tables allocated to the reservations ( which is in itself a ridiculous comment to the customer), she was constantly rolling her eyes at the customers, had attitude and made derogatory comments to her staff about other customers. For the restaurant management: there are settings on the site for bar area dining or a main dining room which other restaurants specify. Please train your staff how to provide superior service to your clientele.

we waited a while to eat and the hostess was very blasé about it. our table sat empty for an hour even though they seated us late

It was unclear who our server was, we did not receive a welcome from our server nor frequent check in’s. So every time we wanted something, we had to flag down a member of the wait staff.
