   This was our first time and we are extremely impressed. This is our new favorite restaurant in the desert. Impeccable service, delicious food. Highly recommend.

   We were excited to try Lola Rose, the ambiance and vibe lived up to expectations. We were expecting food to be just ok based on reviews, but we enjoyed everything we ordered. The celebration bread was flavorful and perfect when paired with the burrata salad. The hummus was fresh and the textures with the crunchy chickpeas and varying flavor profiles with the sundried tomatoes and green parsley sauce gave a unique flavor dynamic. The kabobs were fine, but my least favorite part of meal. Service needs work. After waiting 10+ minutes for a server she showed up and was hurried asking “can I get you started with a drink”. No explanation of menu, no suggestions. After giving our drink order, a waiter dropped glass and it went everywhere. Multiple tables had to get up so they could sweep the floor, no apologies, no can I get you something else, and I had on sandals and glass was on my feet - no one ever said a thing, they pretended like it didn’t happen. Upon drinks arriving we waited and waited for a server to return. Again - no explanation or support of menu. For the price point, service needs elevation.

   What a gem! We made reservations a week in advance -- a good thing because this place is hopping. The menu is inventive, a bit hard to navigate, but our lovely server helped us choose the right number of places to share, nudging us toward some of the house specialties, such as the Celebration Bread, Citrus Endive salad, Lamb Kuftas and an eggplant dip (the name of which escapes me) that were simply out of this world. We've enjoyed Middle Eastern cuisine in Manhattan, DC, and Chicago. This place gives those big-city establishments a run for their money.

   We started by ordering the spreads! The hummus was over spiced. A lot of topping and very little hummus once got to it. The hummus was the best dish. The roasted eggplant was disappointing as it lacked any flavor, not good. The celebration bread that seemed to be the favorite of our server was over spiced and undercooked, or maybe it’s just a gooey bread. We stopped ordering because of the lackluster experience. We will come back and try the kabobs. Maybe that’s the winning item.

   This new restaurant will give every other Palm Springs place a run for their money. Menu is creative. Food sensational. Service top notch. What a treat!

   Overall, the food did not represent a strong effort to showcase Mediterranean flavours. The dips were weak and tasteless. The falafel and lamb kofte was bland, and arrived at the table late and cold.

   Los Rose is just exceptional! The best food in the desert! And we all loved the dinner option to select one dish from four offerings for a great price of $90 per couple! My one suggestion: we sat in the room adjacent to main dining space as it was a more quiet room. While the room was attractive and had comfortable chairs., the lack of good lighting for ambiance made it seem like the step child of the marvelous looking main restaurant. Please add some style & beautiful lighting so this nearly attractive room can fit with the rest of Lola Rose! But we all loved the food and good service! ******!

    Love dining with a rooftop view! Excellent Brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. The Chicken and Corn Bread Waffle was unique and tasty. I look forward to ordering again at a future visit. Others in the party enjoyed vegetarian items and salads.
