   This was a delicious dinner! The steak was perfectly medium rare, the vegetables were flavorful and the empanadas were yummy. The hearts of palm salad tasted good but barely had hearts of palm. The chocolate cake for dessert was very dry and didn't have much flavor. Loved the wine selection and the service was awesome.

   I love Lolinda! The food is always fantastic—my favorites are the ceviche and empanadas. The drinks are delicious, and the staff is consistently attentive. The ambiance is really cool, making it an enjoyable place to dine. However, during my last visit, we encountered an unpleasant experience. When we arrived at 6 PM, nobody informed us that we needed to vacate our table by 8 PM. To my surprise, the hostess approached us at 8:10 and stated, "As I told you when you came in, we can only seat you if you leave at 8." I tried to explain that she hadn’t mentioned this to us; she was on the phone when we walked in and were seated. Unfortunately, she kept repeating the same point and came across as rather rude. Despite this setback, I do appreciate the restaurant overall and hope they can improve their communication for a better customer experience in the future.

   Food was great. Prime bone-in ribeye was great. Server was personable and helpful when they attended to us. Like all restaurants these days, they might have been short staff but they were not impatient for the table so we all enjoyed ourselves in a festive space. I think the GM ended up helping and he was super fun. I’ll be back.

   We loved Lolinda. It is a dark restaurant...which I love. I get tired of the very brightly lit restaurants that don't feel romantic or special. The steak is absolutely delicious. It was prepared exactly as we ordered it. Our starter was the Hearts of Palm Salad which was really good. If we lived in San Francisco I would go back often. The only thing I didn't like was that our waiter was overly helpful, telling us which wine and which appetizers we should order. I don't mind suggestions if I ask, but he was quite insistent when we didn't ask and looked perturbed when we ordered something else.

    The staff was wonderful, very welcoming and friendly. The food was as expected, terrific! I love the place. Wish I could afford to go there more often! And very Argentine of them, they welcome you to sit at your table leisurely. Nice all around. One thing I am VERY offended by is that after happily accepting the price of the restaurant, they attach a hefty 5% "SF Mandate" ($9.05) charge, just for the privilege of have a $206 dinner. This offends me. I should ONLY be charged for something I bought, not just because I was spending a lot of money there in the first place! I was tempted to take ten dollars of my 20% tip to put the cost back on the restaurant, but I decided not to.
