We had a nice experience last night. That was until the bill came. When ordering drinks we asked what the cost was for a different type of tequila and the server said $4 per drink. Some of us agreed and when the bill arrived it was an additional $18 per drink not $4. We asked to speak to the manager and after almost an hour he took off one drink ›$20 (not including the additional $18) and didn't add didn't include the mandatory tip because we were a group of 8. We still tipped the server 20% because he was attentive and kind.

they spent more time singing happy birthday to people than attending their customers. we got there at 7 pm and didn’t get served food until 8:15. our server forgot our drinks and appetizer, he kept serving the table next to us instead. the food sucked, it was all so salty. this place is overhyped and overpriced mexican food, mcdonalds taste better than this. the experience sucks. the food portions are somewhat ok, you kinda get what you paid for besides the taste. i got guacamole on my side and it was like they used the smallest spoon to serve it. the rice tasted old. nothing had flavor just salty. the presentation of the food is at least pretty but overall it sucks.

However, the service leaves much to be desired. While the servers are friendly, they seem stretched thin and take far too long to check on tables. A big part of the delay seems to come from them being sent to sing happy birthday to guests, which causes unnecessary wait times. Be prepared to wait 30+ minutes just to place your order, and if you need anything additional, good luck. It’s often difficult to find your server once you’re seated. Overall, great food and vibes, but the service could use significant improvement.

Wonderful place to dine. The waiters are very attentive. The food is excellent. I’ve tried 4 different entrees there and I would have to say it’s hard to choose which one was my favorite. They were all delicious. The tampiqueño plate has a little bit of meat, chilaquiles beans and rice… that was delicious. But the queso birria tacos are so tasty… I always gave a hard time on choosing one entree. The cocktails are great. Reasonable prices for such a beautiful restaurant.
