   I want to provide actionable feedback vs. complaining. It shouldn't take 15-20 min to get a soda refill and a side of avocado. Seems like you many have been training a new waitstaff member, which is understandable, but perhaps not the best idea on 12/26. We live in Downtown LG, so want to support local businesses, hence this feedback

   Sat outside so noise level was low. Heaters were available for customers. Food was good and my table shared a few bites/starters. Ordered two rounds of espresso martini’s at $25/glass. A little pricy considering the plates were $18-$20. However, service was great. Friendly and engaging staff made the evening enjoyable. I live close to the restaurant, so will come back (sans the martini) but if I lived in San Jose, Parkside would not be top of list or recurrence. I gave Parkside a high score because I enjoyed my dining experience.

   This was my second time visiting Parkside, both times were great but we had a blast this second time. We sat at the bar and Moses was fantastic. I’m new to the LG area, and think I’m weirdly picky when it comes to service / food / cocktail expectations.. this place ticks all the boxes. Love it.

   From the time I walked in until we left the experience was great. The hostess and waitress Lexi were friendly and efficient. I was with 3 friends and we shared small appetizers. The potatoes, crab cakes & hush puppies were delicious. We sat in a booth and it was really comfortable. Will definitely be back!

   Brussel sprouts are amazing, as is the Dulce de Leche Creme Brulee. I'd recommend a new chocolate chip cookie recipe (thinner).

   I met friends for a holiday lunch and it didn’t disappoint. We all had shrimp in one form or another and it was well prepared and fresh. We share the beignets and they were fabulous. The waiter seemed a bit overloaded but was friendly and attentive.

   This was my second visit to Parkside, after having lunch there a wwk prior. I feel the lunch was much better. My friends had the short ribs and compained there wasn't a lot of food for the price. I agreed. No starch, no sides, just a modest portion of meat. My husband had the salmon, which had broccolini and basil mased potatoes that were not very hot, but he enjoyed the salmon. I had a special for that night, a seafood combination in tomato sauce, which was decent. Again, no pasta or anything else. Overall, the food was decent but could have been better. But the major rub were the wine prices... Expect to pay around $100+ for any bottle from a wine list that is not very impressive. Whoa! The noise level was way too high and we could barely hear each other talk. Our server, Moses, was great. Unfortunately it took a long time for our desserts came out and when they did arrive the runner didn't even bring utensils! After another long wait watching the gelato melt, and we finely flagged someone down to get forks and spoons. Grrr. I would return for lunch but probably not dinner. It is a poplular new place in Los Gatos. I hope they can maintain that after the newness wears off.
