   Excellent experiences, took my wife for valentines an her birthday was on same day. Courtesy was great an food also an amazing French dining experience.

   What a delightful evening spent at Lucie. As our reservation was quite late in the day, the tasting menu was not available for selection. That worked out okay, as the menu d’hote had a plethora of mouth watering options to enjoy! All of the food was fantastic. All of it. From the first bites on the canapé course to the very last bite of their petit fours, all was superb. I would definitely recommend the cheese course too, so come with an appetite! The beverages were brilliant. Cocktails. Wines. You can’t go wrong. Very knowledgeable bartender who came table side to explain the different cocktails, their ingredients, and even introduced us to a new cocktail, the aptly named Toronto Cocktail! Although there are two wine pairing options, we opted for the standard pairing of “very good” wines over the “incredibly outrageous” wines but we were not disappointed at all with our choice. Perhaps the “very very good” pairing could be renamed to “just about amazing” pairing as all were delicious and perfectly paired with each dish. (However, I think the port pairing which came with our cheese might have been an error, as we believe it should have came with dessert like the tables neighbouring us). Taylor did a great job in rectifying that with a delightful sauternes to pair with our dessert and taking us on a wonderful and humorous journey all night with each and every glass. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. A very special thanks to Rueben for keeping the plates (and bread coming). To Taylor ad mentioned above for so fantastic sips of wine. To the bartender, again, for the conversation, the cocktails, and the knowledge! Looking forward to returning and discussing all things amaro one afternoon! Only critique, with the FoH and BoH teams so focused on providing an exceptional experience in the dining room, someone neglected to take of the bsthrooms. By the end of the evening there were no hand towels left, nor much toilet tissue for patrons use.
