About this restaurant

  • Great for creative cocktails
  • Good for special occasions

Dumpling enthusiasts and champagne lovers alike can indulge in in the elevated, yet unpretentious fine-dining experience offered in this sexy, and intimate underground hideaway. A deep champagne and wine list complements the menu, and at the 11-seat Pink Italian Stone bar, classic cocktails are shaken up with unique spice combinations and Asian-produced liquors, like a Manhattan riff “Doyer’s Street” made with Chinese five-spice infused Bourbon and Fernet Michaud from Portland, ME

Place had very cool decor and has a lively energy to it. However, with the amount of servers that came over it took and felt a little slow. Also, the pork belly fried rice was so bland it kind of ruined the meal for us. That dish needs some type of spice or flavor to elevate it to the other dishes we had.

Sure! Here’s a balanced review: Review for Lucky Cheetah The food and drinks at Lucky Cheetah were absolutely delicious! Every dish was well-prepared, and the cocktails were expertly crafted with great flavors. However, the service at the bar left something to be desired. The bartenders seemed inattentive, and it took longer than expected to get drinks, even when it wasn’t too busy. A little more attentiveness would have made the experience even better. Overall, a great spot for food and drinks, but the bar service could use some improvement.

It was just ok. The food was pretty oily. I wanted to love it but it was just ok.

Really wonderful. Next time I will pay attention to the location of the music speakers. I was sitting directly underneath one and it was louder than I would like. But I will be back!

The menu creatively fuses traditional dishes with innovative twists, featuring standout items like the luxurious wagyu egg rolls and char siu bao. We had a fantastic time at Lucky Cheetah. If you live in Portland, are traveling through, or are visiting the city, add this place to your to-dine list. The food is fresh and delicious, the staff is professional and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. Make sure you try their coconut cream cake. It is huge and delicious.

Everything tasted great but it was pretty small portions for the prices. Not the place to go if you are very hungry.
