Hospitality gurus Chef Dan San and Roof Alexander bring an elevated experience of Southeast Asian American sharable plates with an Old World style cocktail bar to Clinton Hill Brooklyn. Come for the food and drinks and stay for the hidden lounge in the back.

FYI, theh "fried bread" is what looked to be store-brought crullers (yotiao) pulled from a bag and dropped in the fryer — for $8, with one quenelle of tom yum butter. We weren't wowed by anything (crudo was nice), but hopefully this is just because they've only been open for a minute. Service could also be improved, as there was a bit of a traffic jam at the door when we arrived on time for our reservation, and after we were asked to wait at the bar, another two-top was seated before us. The bar is honestly preferable to the cramped dining room though.

With the exception of one dish we had, everything about this contemporary Cambodian restaurant is a delight. Great cocktails, amazing flavors.
