Delve into a special menu highlight showcasing the rich flavours of Italy with a selection of signature pasta dishes, curated by our Michelin-trained head chef, Salvatore Rizzato, from Rome, Italy. This unique collaboration skillfully blends tastes from his homeland with a Queensland inspired twist, expertly prepared by our passionate chefs at Lyrebird under his guidance.

For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

The food has poisoned me. It’s obviously filled with chemicals or MSG. Dryness of mouth of both my partner and myself swelling of around the eyes and mouth and like needles all over my body. The kitchen needs to be investigated for the use of MSG or some other chemical. That’s probably used to preserve or enhance the flavour of the food. It’s easy for us. We just won’t ever go there again. But BE way you are poisoning people and soon later you’ll have the health department doing an investigation.

The Malfaldine pasta was a little under cooked, but passable. The Tiramisu had way too much cream and not enough Savoiardi and coffee was not detectable. The true Italian tiramisu also has Frangelico in it. The churros were burnt on the lower side which hidden as well. However 3 weeks ago, the meals were perfect!

Everything was exceptional, however the vintage Dom had foil falling apart and wasn't stored correctly. We had a few bits that couldn't be avoided from getting into our glass. But hey, nothing is perfect

High Tea with a glass of bubbles is the perfect pre theatre dining option. The staff and service cannot be faulted. You never have to wait for long for someone to come and check to see if you need anything.

Unusually the service was slow on this occasion, with other patrons having to ask the waitress when their meals were arriving. A couple of the wait staff were not as friendly as those I ordinarily experience & it maybe that they were under the pump. This will not stop me returning as I know how good the service usually is.
