   Madison & Vine is very consistent in the quality of their food and the level of service. During the fall/winter months, after they close the glass walls, the main dining room can get a little noisy. The heated attached tent tends to be better in this regard.

   Food was good, nice neighborhood type spot. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Fortunately it was a rainy overcast morning and we had no pressing appointment.

   Appetizers and main courses were very good. Our server was helpful and accommodating. After dinner cappuccinos were not good so she took them back. No problem

   The food was simple- hamburger and steak sandwich - yet was hammered cooking and tasteless. Service was AWFUL!! Other tables came and went as we waited at least 45 minutes. Waitress never came to see how the food was. Only a brunch menu on a Saturday was surprising and not in a good way. Don’t bother eating here.

In response to your feedback, we did take the burger off your check to ensure you weren’t charged for the dish you didn’t enjoy. We do offer a brunch menu on weekends, which is different from our weekday lunch menu, and we understand that this may have been an unexpected change for you.    Very cute place, delicious breakfast food and great service. We had the pancakes, the pastrami salmon Benedict and the traditional Benedict plus a side of bacon and then the coffee was good and OJ.
