Intimate bar and beautiful lounge lead to unique restaurant with an open garden.

The subtly lit French oak paneled bar greets you with booth banquettes and
tables amenable to serve Jacques’ Bar Menu, all day.

The Club Room: its coffered ceilings and fireplace creates familiarity in the comfort of a warm elegant home.

Both the lounge and the bar menus offer spontaneously prepared French delicacies, savory and sweet with distinct Mediterranean and Moroccan influence.

“Majorelle” restaurant: its vaulted ceiling, marble columns, and trellised garden with up-lighted fountains set the stage for fine French Cuisine and Service in an atmosphere of harmony and luxury for all the senses.

United by the vision of discreet and timeless luxury, to elevate the time-honored tradition of tea with ultimate sophistication and style. Majorelle, with its majestic floral arrangements and light-filled terrace, provides an idyllic, garden-like setting for the Lily of the Valley Tea. Christian Dior, an avid gardener, found constant inspiration in nature and held great admiration for the lily of the valley, heralding the arrival of spring and the haute couture season. A magical thinker, Mr. Dior would sew a sprig of it into the hem of each of his dresses. As a tribute to this fascination, the Muguet collection, dreamed up by Cordelia de Castellane, has been enriched with new items dedicated to the art of tableware.

I attended the Lily of the Valley Afternoon Tea, a collaboration with Dior. While the service wasn’t the greatest, I do think the staff did their best. Everyone from the doormen to the coat check was very kind. The ambiance was stunning. The décor, plates, and overall theme were beautifully on-brand for Dior, making it a great advertisement for the brand. I wouldn’t say the food was worth the price, but with afternoon tea, you’re also paying for the experience, service, and in this case, the Dior branding. 🍵 Unfortunately, the savories were very basic and unimpressive. Classic afternoon tea sandwiches with no refinement in flavor. I didn’t enjoy them. 🍵 The desserts were much better! I usually find afternoon tea desserts too sweet, but these were perfectly balanced and enjoyable. 🍵 I appreciated that the scones were served separately and wrapped warm. A small but important detail that many places overlook. They tasted decent, though nothing particularly special. I had to cut my experience short and didn’t get to try everything before leaving. They kindly boxed up my remaining items, but I later realized they left out the raspberry panna cotta. Likely because it was in a glass or plastic container. I would have appreciated being informed so I could have tried it before leaving. One important note: since this is a Dior collaboration, certain elements were beyond the venue’s control. I was told that Dior had to approve everything, including the decision to make the Dior Bar Jacket and Lily of the Valley cookies an additional cost rather than part of the tea tower. Overall, if you plan to visit, know that you’re paying more for the aesthetic and branding rather than the food. If you’re looking for great food, there are plenty of other afternoon tea options in NYC.

Elegant seating, lovely service, attentive, and thoughtful. Food however, was simply ordinary. Has a very nice wine list.

What a wonderful experience! I was able to have the Lily of the Valley afternoon tea experience with a 4pm reservation and had a lovely time. The staff was so attentive and helpful during our time and we were very well taken care of, my tea cup was never empty! Thank you for such a great experience, I can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been to over 10 afternoon teas in Manhattan and this was by far the best one I’ve done. Everything from the presentation and decor to the food was amazing, but what really put this tea to the top of the list was the service. Alex was so kind greeting us at the front door and Bruno couldn’t have been more attentive or nice during the service. He provided an awesome recommendation on our tea and preemptively planned ahead so we never had to ask for anything. I would highly recommend this tea service and plan to tell all of my friends about it. Shout out specifically to Bruno for making a standard Friday afternoon feel so special!
