    I was planning on having Chef’s Marco’s Uruguayan ribeye, which I had previously and thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to Carlo’s recommendation, veal chop was a special and it was exquisitely prepared with a perfect proportion of truffle and herbs. I was tempted to gnaw on the bone with my bare hands but didn't want to be an "only in Dade" parody. My dining partner had the Candele entre, a dry pasta from Gragnano Italy (a town near Naples Italy). Gragnano is famous for dried pasta, a 1000 year tradition. Gragnano pasta is recognized by the EU to be PGI (protected Geographical Indication) if it meets specific criteria: the pasta dough must be extruded through a bronze die, giving it a rough texture; must use high-protein Durum wheat; the water must be from Gragnano which is light in calcium and other minerals, and it must be dried at low-temperature. Carlo explained that not only is the pasta authentically Gragnano but also the tomato sauce (from 3 tomatoes) is also imported from Naples. Chef Marco’s preparation was delectable. Candele is supposed to be al dente; it was filling and a great value, considering the quality of ingredients and skill in preparation. Mano’s staff is warm and friendly. The hostess greeted us kindly and the staff is efficient and efficient.

    It was my first visit to Mano Libre, we went to celebrate our friend’s birthday! The service was amazing and the food was out of this world. I am not big on Italian food, don’t get me wrong I like Italian food but it is not the first choice that comes to mind when decided what to eat! This place really make me change my mind! We opted for the tasting menu which gives you a good taste of the menu! The fiori di zucca ripieni were amazing! The Sogliola Alla puttanesca was unbelievable, the fish was so well cook! Most definitely will visit this place again! 10/10

    The restaurant is very nice, seeing the chef finish each dish is impressive, the service is good, the flavor of the food amazing. I don’t like big portions but the portions here are too small. I ordered the scallops and they only include 2 when a normal portion at a high end restaurant is 4.

    Excellent food, atmosphere, and super helpful waiters. Even though the restaurant was full, they at least took the time to give us a brief explanation of the dishes. The cocktails were delicious. The pistachio ice cream was spectacular, although I think the price was a bit high. Everything else was great, I loved it.

    Truly impressed with this dining experience. From the appetizers to the entrees everything that we had were simply perfectly crafted dishes. The manager and our waiter were outstanding. Carlo the manager provided recommendations and they did not disappoint and Vincenzo our waiter was an absolute delight. It was nice to see the chef front and center in the kitchen making sure everything was prepared to perfection. Mission Accomplished!

    Chef Marco Giugliano’s Mano Libera is a treasure. I’ve been to Mano several times since it opened in late December 2024. Chef Marco is a true Neapolitan, a mix of warmth and intensity. Mano’s ambiance is epitomized by his trademark hand: Chef Marco’s “touch” is felt in the comfortable vibe and artisanal skill reflected in his dishes. I’ve had many of the dishes on the menu. The appetizers are delicacies, especially the zucchini, carpaccio and ragu. My favorites are the tagliolini, gnocchi and risotto ossobuco. His branzino is spectacular, the dry-aged ribeye bests any top steak house and the lamb is noteworthy. The desserts are astonishingly unique and elegant, especially the interpretation of tiramisu and cheesecake. The pistachio gelato is off the charts great. In the hands of a skilled, passionate chef, quality ingredients have their own voice. Chef Marco’s touch expresses them brilliantly. There are a handful of spectacular Italian dining experiences in Miami proper. I go to Mano regularly because it has the skill, quality and Neapolitan soul that is unapparelled in South Florida. The cost is reasonable without pretentiousness. I’ve been to most of the highly rated Miami restaurants, and Mano deserves a Michelin star and Gambero Rosso’s rating of at least 2 forks. The wine-list is growing and has many known names and lesser-known gems at fair markup. Dining at Mano brings back my best memories of time spent in Italy.
