   My wife and I recently dined at Marcel and unfortunately had a less than satisfactory experience due to the non service provided by the head server by the name Kevin. From the moment we were seated, Kevin never addressed our table that another staffer who was quite more professional had to step in to take over. When Kevin did come to our table after our appetizers he just started picking up plates asking are we finished. It was clear that he was not invested in providing quality service to us but made sure he greeted and served the customers at the next table. Additionally, Kevin's attitude was less than professional, as he appeared to be impatient and dismissive with his lack of enthusiasm and poor communication skills greatly detracted from our overall enjoyment of the meal. In contrast to Kevin's lackluster performance, my wife just decided to have the food boxed to go before it even came to our table. It is unfortunate that our dining experience was marred by the subpar service provided by Kevin. In conclusion, we’ve eaten at Marcel for years for special occasions but after this experience I would not recommend Marcel to others based on the poor service we received. It is important for restaurants to ensure that all staff members, especially those in leadership positions such as head servers, are committed to providing excellent service to their customers.

   We have been to Marcel’s several times in the past, and it was amazing. The service at this visit was lackluster ( forgot two items we ordered, slow to respond and hard to find waiter).

   Spectacular! Magical evening dining at Marcel! From the moment we entered - from start to finish, impeccable service, attention to every detail! We were seated in the beautiful dining room, nice ambiance and decor, attractive lighting! Nick was our server and he was the best! Knowledgeable, articulate, funny, and always there at the right times! He made our dining experience so enjoyable! Salads were prepared well, Steaks, Chicken, Lobster Risotto all cooked to perfection! Nice presentation of sides - lots of Potato selections to choose from as well as other options to complement the Meal. Great Wine selection - Place is Fabulous!!!

    We were sat in a back room which was a bit quieter then the main dining room which was nice. Don’t know if we would have been able to hear each other in the main dining room because it was so loud. But in the back room the tables for two were so close together we were practically sitting in our neighbors lap. If I needed to get by to use the restroom I felt like I may knock over something on our neighbors table. Seems pretty crazy for a bill of $500 for 2 people that the tables would be so close. Food was outstanding though.
