   Overall, it was a great experience. I really liked the service and cocktails they served. Perhaps brunch buffet would have been a better choice, but I was hoping ala carte options would be of better quality. It was good overall, especially the service and the quality of cocktails.

   As always the food and presentation was fantastic. It was busy so the service was considerably slower compared to our past visits. Still this is the best menu in Grand Rapids.

   Good was fabulous! Best I’ve had in Grand Rapids in a long time! The music is a little weird but overate room is nice. Slow staff for our liking.

   Jessica was awesome! Old fashions and the ribeye for two were delicious. Oysters were fresh! We celebrated my birthday in style. The ambience and decor were elegant. Restaurant food was great, except the au gratin potatoes. Those were a miss. Asparagus and the chocolate mouse dessert was great. All in all a great evening!

   I have been to Margeaux in the past and had fabulous meals. This time was different. Two at our table ordered the Crab Royale and I had the Roast Chicken A La Grand-Mere. The crab in the Crab Royale was chewy and tough. I love crab and this was unlike anything I've ever had before. I don't know if it was under or over cooked, but definitely not right. The pasta dish it was in was underwhelming, not much to it. The Roast Chicken was also underwhelming. The server was great, as well as the wine and desserts that we had. No plans of returning to this restaurant.

    An outstanding experience! The food was superb. The two salads, (the orange and avocado and the poached pear) were two of the best salads we've had dining out. Simply perfect. Our two entres were outstanding, the lamb and the chicken (what a portion!) and the raspberry sorbet for desert was terrific. The Wine list is well appointed with many of the "usual wines" you'd expect, but also with some very interesting wines not often seen on most restaurants lists, and we enjoyed a lovely Cabernet Franc from the Loire, which was priced right. Above all, however was the service from the team, but most notably from Emma, just over the top! We will gladly recommend this excellent spot in Grand Rapids. Well done!
