Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!).
Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios.

Margeaux Supper Parlor serves New American cuisine, blending dishes inspired by the two most historic port cities in the country: New Orleans and Boston. Dinner plates include: Tomato & Bacon Jam Deviled Eggs (topped with a fried Maine oyster), Lamb Lollipops with cherry reduction, Pumpkin Ravioli, Beef Wellington, Shrimp & Boursin Grits, and Maple Bourbon Steak Tips.

Brunch is also served in themed collections and includes items such as: Quiche Lorraine, Fried Chicken & Sweet Corn Waffle, Eggs Benedict, and a Black Forrest Waffle.

Went to Lunch during their first annual crawfish broil and food was amazing. Our waiter Sam was very attentive and provided great service. There was live music and the ambiance was one lovely.

The menu’s ”collections” concept (i.e., each “collection” comprising five small plates) is unnecessarily complicated and pairs foods that, to my mind, don’t naturally fit well together. Just offering a normal tapas a la carte menu would be more “customer friendly.”

Had a fantastic dinner with my two ladies (wife and daughter). Portions were generous and of high quality. Drinks were priced very reasonably. We had a great time! Great value as well.

The dining experience I am always seeking. Staff that knows their stuff, an interior that is truly stunning, and food that knocks your socks off. The style of the menu allowed for each person to have a small sampling of very different dishes all made with clear intention and care. I loved every bite and particularly found the pumpkin raviolis impressive. I will be back and I will be bringing friends!

Overall a really good experience, the build your own menu aspect is neat but it feels as though the menu could make it easier to understand. The bar was a little slow, we probably would’ve had more wine and cocktails if they weren’t as delayed. The food was delicious though and I would recommend this place to others.

While much of the food was extremely good (flavorful, well prepared and interestingly played/complemented) there was much about the overall experience which diminished the evening. The noise level was extremely high — large tables with lots of drinking leading to a lot of noise and then as that quieted down music would be turned up with a throbbing bass. Tables themselves are a bit small leaving little “working space” with the trio style of ordering. On some of the menus, the wine flights were undistinguished and even hard to tell apart while they were more diverse on other menus. The service was well intentioned but mildly inept — we sat with a plate of clearly emptied oyster shells on our table while multiple tables around us were cleared, wiped down and next groups seated (it was only dealt with when we asked someone to remove it, and they seemed surprised by the request). While some items on the menu were very tasty and interesting, the overall experience (especially for price point) was well below anything which would get us to return.
