My husband and I arrived at 6:30 for a Tuesday night dinner and were glad we had a reservation. Unbeknownst to us it was Tuna Tuesday, which is a very popular event - so the restaurant was packed. We were able to eat outside, which was very pleasant. While it took a while for the food to arrive, our server was excellent. She kept us apprised of the progress of our meal, filled drinks, and was generally very pleasant. My grilled garlic sesame glazed salmon was delicious. My husband enjoyed his crispy tuna roll and pad thai with tofu. Will definitely return, but probably not on Tuna Tuesday!

The ambiance and the service were excellent.We came due to the appealing menu.The food was unbelievably bland and tasteless. Very disappointing.Interestingly,the restaurant was fairly busy.Locals must think it's good?

We had a reservation for 6 and they had it down as 2 people. The food took an hour and 30 minutes to bring. A table of 6 who sat down and ordered after us finished their food before we got ours. Managers were very rude when I asked for our food. On top of that, one of the waitress forgot to put in one of the entrees and one of us was without food until everyone finished. They brought it very late and still charged us. Service is so bad.

I've been to Masa many times and it is a go-to favorite of mine mostly for the food but also because of the very quiet and intimate booths. Last night was fine except the server forgot to bring out the curry sauce with my guests lamb chops. More attention to detail would prevent this in the future.
